Our lovely horses having been training so well during the festive season and as usual have outdone themselves entertaining riders in nature.

Sleeping Beauty Horse Riding Holiday - Posted 4 Nov 2021
Oudebosch Mountain Lodge, situated in the shadow of the Sleeping Beauty Mountain Peak offers the nature and horse lover an unforgetable outdoor experience.
We offer a 6 Day all inclusive package. Including 23 Hours in the saddle..all meals, including picnics in the veld.
After a day in the saddle, enjoy cooling off in our sparkling rock swimming pool with breathtaking views of the Langeberg Mountains
Our horses are sure footed, well mannered and gentle of nature.

Day 1
Day One of our 6 Day horse riding package. Surrounded by Cape Fynbos with the Langeberg Mountains in the backdrop..on our way to the Rooiwaterspruit waterfalls... lovely ride with sure footed well trained horses.
Our horses had out done themselves! Not for the faint hearted.. but these horses know exactly what they are doing.. a truly awesome experience on Day 1! Beautiful scenery, crystal clear waterfalls and fresh mountain air! We cannot wait to see what Day 2 has to offer...
Day 2

What a glorious Summer morning. Up close and personal with Zebra, Springbuck, Bontebuck, Eland and Rooihartbeest in the backdrop... Once again amazing horses... the canter is a dream, even the inexperienced rider can get these horses instantly in a comfortable canter.

Day 3

Day 4, 5 & 6
Day 4, 5 and 6 of our 6 day trip
Once again.. not for the faint hearted! Our calm and experienced horses truly showed endurance and guts these past few days. We are so proud of every horse and rider! We visited the waterfalls at Rooiwaterspruit once again, this time exploring a little bit more on foot.. the only noise...crystal clear running water...
During these 6 days we spent plus minus 20 hours in the saddle.. covering about 75km over the 6 days. Well done to our guests and horses. Thank you Eben for an awesome adventure every day and thank you Eunice for being an excellent hostess.
