Lovely stay in the nature
We spent one night at the farm and it was just lovely. We had a wonderful ride with Linda. The horses are very well trained, respond to the most easiest help and are suitable for both advanced and beginners. The apartment was clean and very well-equipped. In the evening we could even make a fire and were surprised with a homemade pizza. If you are looking for peace and nature, you are in the right place on this farm and will feel comfortable. We would come back.
Great for nature lovers and trail rides
The farm is sorrounded by beautiful nature. Linda prepares you well for the drive over the gravel road with exact directions. Even our small rental car made it without problems and since its only one road it is easy to find. Driving slowly you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The best part of the stay was that I had the chance to go on trail horse back rides through these stunning fields and forests with mountain views. The horses are well trained and suitable for every level of experience. Linda was a great guide giving Information about the farm, the surroundings and the horses. She made me feel super comfortable and safe on the ride. Also a big thank you to Eunice who helped with all kinds of questions and needs like towels for the beautiful pool. I definately want to come back.

Perfect for a family getaway - no TV which was great for some family bonding time.
The service received from Linda was exceptional, she checked on us to ensure that we were traveling safely, and where to find shops to stock up, and when we arrived in the cottage there was a warm fire already lit up. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for self-catering purposes. Pillows - perfect :-) The children loved the trampoline and the ample space to play outside. I found the place to be very peaceful. Wish we had stayed longer.

The perfect retreat to enjoy mother nature.
Very friendly service, very clean and fully equipped accomodation, situated perfectly to allow a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. The beautiful pool area overlooks the lush valley.

Eunice the caretaker was the perfect host together with the extended staff. They were most welcoming and very accommodating to all our little requests. Easy to chat to and knowledgeable about the surroundings and activities in the area. We took all three units and each unit was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend this place for some peace and quiet. Free access to the Korentepoort Dam was an added bonus to paddle on the rubber dinghy. Awesome holiday experience and thanks for the exceptional service and cherished memories. All the best to Oudebosch for the year ahead.

A gem of a location
The location was exactly what we were looking for and an ideal stop-over during a leisurely drive from Cape Town to the Garden Route. The unit was beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything you need to be completely self-catering. The pool area was lovely, and the “wildlife” on your doorstep was a bonus. Eunice the hostess was friendly and very accommodating.

Ons het dit vreeslik geniet. Eunice en Eben het kom inloer om te kyk of ons alles het wat nodig is. Die uitsig is pragtig en die sebras en bokkies was 'n aangename verrassing. Ons dogter kon haar verkyk aan hoe hulle wei. Die huisie was goed ingerig met alles wat jy benodig. Ons sal beslis terug wees.
Awesome, relaxing.
We had a relaxing, peacefull, lazy stay at Oudebosch. We absolutely loved the location and the units are spaces, clean and comfortable. A definite return visit on the cards for us.

Our stay at the farm was not planned in our trip and it turns to be the best of it , the farm and the lodge were amazing but that is nothing compared to the kindness and friendliness of the host and the staff , we had a wonderful time and sure I will recommend to friends and family.

Oudebosch Mountain Lodge honestly I couldn’t have imagined a better place to spend 6 days. The spectacular scenery, the animals, the bomb proof, absolutely well taken care of horses, the phenomenal food (omg I need to diet) and last but not least, Eben the incredible horse whisperer (not guide hahha), Eunice who goes above and beyond to see to our every need, Linda and Piet the farm owners who are so warm and welcoming. I could not have asked for a better escape because this is EXACTLY what Oudebosch is, an escape from the noise of everyday life and a gentle reminder of some good food for the soul. What a gem!
I was on a multi day-hiking trip along the Langeberg when I got sick and needed to get off the trail. Luckily, I happened to be close to Oudebosch Guest Farm and instead of calling the rescue services I reached out to Linda&Peter. I was picked up from the trail within no time and welcomed like an old friend.
For the next two days everyone at Oudebosch went above and beyond to take good care of me. I was served delicious meals that wouldn't upset my stomach, a fire was lit for me and in the end I got a late check out at no extra cost. I hope the circumstances why someone considers Oudebosch Guest Farm are different. Yet, going there is something you certainly won't regret.
The views are superb, the fully equipped lodges well maintained and even judging from an European perspective spotless clean, the bed super comfy, the common area and the pool very stylish and great to relax. Yet, it's the quietness and remoteness that make the Oudebosch Guest Farm an absolute insider tip. Sitting on the terrace in front of a fire, watching the springboks grazing as the sun sets behind the hills feels just like heaven on earth.

We had a fantastic time at Oudebosch guest farm horse riding for 3 days. Eben and the owners were just amazingly friendly and spoiled us. The cottage we shared was great. The horses well trained and fun for advanced riders. the views are amazing and having game (incl zebras) on the property makes this place really special. We will definetly come back.
